We often think strength comes from standing on our own.
From doing things by ourselves. Proving that we don’t need anyone else.
But that’s not how anything meaningful is built.
The truth is, everything that lasts is built together.
A nation isn’t one person being strong. It’s people showing up for each other. Standing side by side, even when it’s not easy.
Because alone, we can only go so far.
Ittehad Shawl is a reminder that when people come together, for something bigger than themselves, for their country, their future… things start to feel different. And that’s how a nation grows, not by individuals standing apart,
but by people choosing to stand together.

An Ode to Allama Iqbal
فرد قائم ربط ملت سے ہے ، تنہا کچھ نہيں
Fard qaaim rabt-e-millat se hai, tanha kuch nahin,
موج ہے دريا ميں اور بيرون دريا کچھ نہيں
Mauj hai darya mein aur berun-e-darya kuch nahin.
Translation:
An individual stands firm through their connection with the community; alone, they are nothing.
A wave exists within the river, and outside the river, it is nothing.
