Design Philosophy

Empires don’t always leave behind castles or crowns. Sometimes, they live in the words we speak.

Take our Urdu language: kitab, rang, bazaar, safar - all words borrowed from Persian, Arabic, and other languages.

Centuries ago, they crossed borders and oceans carrying our stories, ideas, and culture.

Over time, their origins blurred. The richness of history became familiar. Ordinary. Unnoticed.

But the empire that created them wasn’t destroyed - it evolved, scattered, and quietly became part of who we are.
The Lost Empire is about seeing those fragments again.

An invitation to reconnect and reclaim with a legacy that shaped us more than we ever noticed.

Poetry

An Ode To Behzad Lucknavi

اے جذبۂ دل گر میں چاہوں ہر چیز مقابل آ جائے
Ae jazba-e-dil gar main chaahoon, har cheez muqaabil aa jaaye

منزل کے لیے دو گام چلوں اور سامنے منزل آ جائے
Manzil ke liye do gaam chaloon aur saamne manzil aa jaaye

اے دل کی لگی چل یوں ہی سہی چلتا تو ہوں ان کی محفل میں
Ae dil ki lagi, chal yun hi sahi, chalta to hoon un ki mehfil mein

اس وقت مجھے چونکا دینا جب رنگ پہ محفل آ جائے
Us waqt mujhe chonka dena jab rang pe mehfil aa jaaye

Translation:

O passion of the heart, if I wish, may everything come before me
I take just two steps toward my destination, and the destination appears before me

O ache of the heart, let it be so — I do walk into their gathering
Startle me at the moment when the gathering comes into full color
