تیرے آنے کی جب خبر مہکے
Tere aane ki jab khabar mehke
تیری خوشبو سے سارا گھر مہکے
Teri khushboo se saara ghar mehke
شام مہکے ترے تصور سے
Shaam mehke tere tasawwur se
شام کے بعد پھر سحر مہکے
Shaam ke baad phir sehar mehke
رات بھر سوچتا رہا تجھ کو
Raat bhar sochta raha tujh ko
ذہن و دل میرے رات بھر مہکے
Zehn o dil mere raat bhar mehke
یاد آئے تو دل منور ہو
Yaad aaye to dil munawwar ho
دید ہو جائے تو نظر مہکے
Deed ho jaaye to nazar mehke
Translation:
When news of your arrival arrives, it fills the air with fragrance.
Your scent perfumes the entire house.
Evening becomes fragrant with the thought of you.
And after evening, dawn becomes fragrant again.
All night long, I kept thinking of you.
My mind and heart remained scented throughout the night.
When you are remembered, the heart becomes illuminated.
And when I see you, even my sight becomes fragrant.
