گل ہو، مہتاب ہو، آئینہ ہو، خورشید ہو میر
(Gul ho, mehtaab ho, aaeena ho, khursheed ho Mir)

اپنا محبوب وہی ہے جو ادا رکھتا ہو
(Apna mehboob wahi hai jo ada rakhta ho)

Translation:

Be it a flower, the moon, a mirror, or the sun, O Mir…
The one I love is only the one who carries grace.
