An Ode to Sarshar Siddiqui

نیند ٹوٹی ہے تو احساسِ زیاں بھی جاگا
Neend tooti hai to ehsaas-e-ziyaan bhi jaaga

دھوپ دیوار سے آنگن میں اتر آئی ہے
Dhoop deewaar se aangan mein utar aayi hai

Translation:

As sleep breaks, the awareness of what has been lost awakens too. The sunlight has crossed the wall and descended into the courtyard.
